About SRM´s PORTS program
SRM´s PORTS program calculates theoretical inlet and outlet port areas for a given profile.
 
The calculation of areas at different turning angles is made by finding the coordinates, which define the actual port areas, and then using the Green´s formula for area calculation.
 
With PORTS program, you can change the geometrical data of your rotor (centre distance, L/D, diameters and wrap angle), as long as you use the one and same SRM rotor profile type and rotor lobe combination.
 
Calculation with PORTS is fast and easy. This software works with all versions of MS Windows®.
 
Depending on number of the profiles, our users pay an annual fee for using the software. Support and updating are included in this fee.
