Opcon Technology Suzhou Co., Ltd (OTS) is the Opcon Group's Chinese production company for electronic ignition systems and solenoids. We also provide marketing support for all Opcon companies in China. Opcon Tech is included along with SEM in Opcon’s Engine Efficiency business area, which focuses on energy-efficient solenoid technology and high-quality advanced electronic ignition and control systems for combustion engines, including ethanol, natural gas and biogas engines. We have sophisticated clients, such as Scania, Cummins, BAPC, Husqvarna, Kongsberg and Haldex, active in the automotive and other industries on global markets including China.

Opcon is one of the leading manufacturers in the world of these products and systems. The development work is done by SEM in Åmål, Sweden, and production by SEM and OTS in China. The development of products and systems, as well as manufacturing processes, take place on an increasingly large scale in close cooperation with customers. Most of our suppliers are Chinese companies and the vast majority are local.
Located in Suzhou We are located in the industrial city of Suzhou, in the Suzhou New District (SND), together with many Chinese and international companies. Suzhou is approximately 100 km from Shanghai. The company has around 125 employees.
